Our Leadership
Senior Director, Software Engineering
Donny Hufham joined EasyExport in 2019 for what was supposed to be a three- or four-month project coding EasyExport’s automation software. That short-term gig turned into his full-time job and today he serves as EasyExport’s chief software engineer.
Together with Jeff, April, and Miles, Donny leads the creative team charting EasyExport’s short- and long-term future. Donny’s work enables EasyExport to release software improvements on average every two weeks, giving EasyExport the ability to incorporate new ideas and user suggestions into software improvements immediately and continuously.
Executive Director of Operations & Compliance
April Towers was the first person outside the Grody family to sign on to the EasyExport vision. She designed major portions of EasyExport’s software system drawing on her background preparing thousands of ITAR and EAR export licenses involving exports to more than 90 countries.
Today, April is EasyExport’s Executive Director of Operations and Compliance, and leads EasyExport’s day to day operations.
Co-Founder & Director
Miles was the first person to share Jeff’s vision and joined him in co-founding EasyExport.
A former attorney and a veteran of highly successful startups, Miles works closely with EasyExport’s team of software engineers. He spent more than three years developing EasyExport’s technology from that initial vision to the solution you see today.
Manager of Buyer Registration
When international buyers register with EasyExport, Dave is the person who processes their registrations and emails them with any questions. Dave’s goal in life is to thrill new buyers in their first encounter with EasyExport. His burden is to thrill buyers while asking the questions and seeking the information required to ensure that registrations are in order. Few could reconcile these competing challenges better than Dave.
Dave probably knows more about firearm ownership and possession licenses in countries outside the United States than anyone. He brings that knowledge to bear every day in the course of reviewing registrations and recommending them for approval.
When buyer’s registrations are approved on Saturday or Sunday, they can thank Dave. He’s their advocate and friend.
President & Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Grody has been on a mission to help American sellers access the opportunities presented by the international market since 2014.
His vision to automate the complex and labor-intensive paperwork associated with exporting firearms from the United States today enables American manufacturers and other sellers to participate in the global market, especially online, for the first time.
Jeff is deeply knowledgeable about the process for exporting firearms and related products legally. He serves as EasyExport’s Chief Executive Officer.
